Ms. Xuemei Chen, as the Vice President, CTO and QMR of Shandong Linglong Tire Co., LTD., has devoted more than 30 years to tire technology and quality work. She has successfully led the advanced tire technology development cooperated with BUCT (Beijing University of Chemical Technology), including First Domestic Dandelion Concept Tire, 3D printing PU tire and etc. Also, she has led high-end tire development, such as racing tire, RFT tire and low-odor tire, which have filled the gaps in China’s tire industry or in the company. Under her leadership, the company has approved as OE supplier for the well-known automakers, such as Audi, VW, Ford, and Renault, and has started supplying OE tires.

Ms. Chen has participated in the development of UHP PCR tire of high wet grip & low noise with low section, which has won second class of the State Science & Technology Advancement Award; and of the high wet grip & low noise PCR tire with ultra-low section, which has won first prize of Science & Technology Award of Shandong Province. Key technology of multi-scale microporous tread compound application and the Application of National Standards including GB/T 21910 Method for measuring relative wet grip performance of passenger car tyres led by Ms. Chen have respectively honored with the second prize of Yantai Science & Technology Progress Award and the third prize of Shandong Scientific Progress Award. In 2020, she was named as the Industry Leading Talent by Yantai People’s Government.
