Mr. Shugao Zhao, Ph.D., Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, studied at Shandong Institute of Chemical Technology, South China University of Technology, Shanghai Jiaotong University and University of Erlangen-Nürnberg. He has served as the Dean of the School of Rubber Engineering at Qingdao Institute of Chemical Technology, the Dean of the School of Polymer Science and Engineering at Qingdao University of Science and Technology, and the Director of the Key Laboratory of the Ministry of Education for Rubber and Plastic Materials and Engineering (Qingdao University of Science and Technology). His main research areas are new rubber/elastomer materials and their high-performance/ functional modification, compounding, reinforcement, processing as well as engineering applications.
