Born in Beijing in 1963, is a Han nationality, and has a bachelor's degree in Beijing Union University. He is a professor level senior engineer, and an expert enjoying the special government allowance of the State Council. Since September 1987, Mr. Li has successively served as deputy director of tyre department; director of tyre industrialization business department; director of tyre business department; deputy chief engineer; and chief designer. He has been engaged in research on tyre and rubber material manufacturing technology and production process for a long time, presided over more than 20 projects involving tyre technology development and tyre technology transfer, and won the third prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award and 3 provincial and ministerial science and technology progress awards. He is currently the Chief Technology Officer of Beijing Research and Design Institute of Rubber Industry Co., Ltd.(BRDI).
